If you parked and activated your parking correctly, then you should not be issued with a PCN (Penalty Charge Notice), however if you park in the wrong place or in a manner that could cause a contravention or violate other parking regulations then you may receive a PCN.
If you park your car in a zone that has a maximum parking duration or you exceed the parking time brought, you will still be at risk of receiving a penalty notice. However, you can reduce this risk by opting for Parkmobile’s text alerts to ensure that you are notified when your parking time is coming to an end, giving you time to get to your car and reduce the risk of receiving a penalty charge. Texts cost 20p each.
Note Parkmobile do not issue PCNs these are issued by the car park owner or local authority in which you are parked.
If you think that you have managed and paid for your parking period correctly, but you have still received a PCN (Penalty Charge Notice) then please contact the Council who issued the PCN.
You can download the details of your parking event to help dispute the PCN by visiting my parkmobile. We sent you a text with your username and password when you first registered with Parkmobile.
